Unless specified, the wood is select hardwoods I commonly call "Chinese Mystery Wood" because when I ask which type of wood it is, I get a different answer from each person. My testimony toward these lines comes from receiving, witnessing the construction, and selling these well made products.

The furniture cost is low because it is made and imported in mass volume and shipped to us, leaving out the "Name Brand" up-charge or because the Name Brand has kept their profit margin low to provide us with function, form and value.

The fabrics are produced in mass volumes to keep the cost lower.

Usually a combination of adjustments can be made in color of woods or materials. Some furniture lines like British Traditions, American Heritage and Charleston Forge will customize their solid wood products to YOUR dimensional specifications! With a minimal mark-up (so we can stay in business), you can get whatever your heart desires for less than you could find anywhere.

The fabrics are quality up-grade fabrics at prices you can afford. You can purchase a yard or a bolt - whatever you need. If the manufacturer offers a discount for a volume purchase, this discount is passed on to you.

The upholstered furniture is usually down filled, specified wood frames, 8 way hand-tied, and has material and leather choices that sell at fabric stores for well over $130 a yard. However with my mark-up going lower as the cost going higher, you pay $1,200 for a chair others sell for $7,500!
